Worldline continues to strengthen its position in Corporate Social Responsibility ratings

Bezons, May 12, 2017 – Worldline, [Euronext: WLN] European leader in the payments and transactional services industry, announced today that its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance has been rewarded by two ESG rating agencies: Oekom and MSCI.

Worldline has been ranked as Prime by Oekom research AG, a responsible investment rating agency that evaluates more than 3800 companies. Only 18% of the rated companies are ranked as Prime based on high standards in quality, independence and transparency. The company has therefore entered in the top 15 best rated companies on CSR topics across the Software & IT Services Industry, among 174 companies (information from November 30, 2016).

Moreover, Worldline has obtained the AA rating from the MSCI Index, an independent research provider for institutional investors and for ESG ratings. The agency assesses more than 2000 companies and only 7% of these have obtained this score. This rating highlights Worldline’s strong data security and human capital development measures and an impressive environmental performance.

With these impressive and above-average results, Worldline is consolidating its CSR leader position in its industry. These two ratings complete our list of awards: in 2016, we entered in the top 10 of the Gaia Index and obtained the Gold level of EcoVadis. We will therefore continue to demonstrate and improve our performance supported by our CSR program TRUST 2020.
